Pressure Cooker Mac and Cheese

Make creamy homemade Macaroni and Cheese in under 30 minutes with the help of a pressure cooker for a quick and yummy dinner.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1lb. Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 Cups water
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 12 oz. Can Evaporated Milk
  • 3 Cups (12 oz.) Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup (3 oz.) Parmesan Cheese, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine water, pasta, mustard, Tabasco, butter, and salt in the pressure cooker, and stir. Lock the lid and set for 4 minutes on manual mode (high pressure). 
  2. Do a quick release after cook time is done, and remove lid. The water will be absorbed into the pasta.
  3. Keep the pot in warm mode and stir in evaporated milk. Stir in the cheese a cup at a time.
