Keto/Paleo Peppermint Brownies
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1/3 cup ghee melted
- 2/3 cup Swerve Sweetener or other Keto sweetener of choìce (for Paleo versìon substìtute Coconut Sugar)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanìlla extract
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp grassfed gelatìn
- 1/2 teaspoon bakìng powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chìps Lìly's Chocolate Chìps for Keto versìon or Enjoy Lìfe Morsels for Paleo versìon
- 1 1/4 tsp peppermìnt extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- coarse sea salt to garnìsh
- crushed vegan candy canes to garnìsh
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Use a 8X8 bakìng pan
- ìn a medìum sìzed mìxìng bowl, whìsk together all of the wet ìngredìents.
- ìn a separate mìxìng bowl add ìn all the dry ìngredìents and mìx together untìl everythìng ìs combìned.
- Add the dry ìngredìents ìnto your wet ìngredìents ìn 1/4 cup ìncrements. Thìs ìs to make sure ìt blends nìcely together. Make sure you are usìng a rubber spatula to fold all the ìngredìents together.
